- The Windows Disk Cleanup is a great tool which help the users in cleaning up their hard disk. Every time the users run this tool it will scan through their hard disk and find any files and and folders which are safe to to be remove. Users will then be able to choose from the list of items show by the tools.

- Downloaded Program Files - are ActiveX controls and Java applets downloaded automatically from the Internet when you view certain pages. They are temporarily stored in the Downloaded Program Files folder on your disk.
- Temporary Internet Files - contains webpages stored on your hard disk.
- Offline Webpages - webpages that are stored on your computer so you can view them without being connected to the Internet.
- Hibernation File Cleaner - contains information about the state of your computer as it enters hibernation. This will disable hibernation.
- Recycle Bin - contains files you have deleted from your computer.
- Setup Log Files - Files created by Windows.
- Temporary files - Stores temporary information by various Programs ran.
